Peter Paul Rubens' Batman Charity

Hillary White continues to educate me on classic paintings (this one based on Peter Paul Rubens' Roman Charity) and also traumatize me. Well done. (Batman Charity, for  Bottleneck Gallery's The Gang Is All Here)

The Breaking Bad Mashups We Deserve

These are two Breaking Bad mashups I've had sitting around, finally getting to them. Above: Jeff Matsuda, producer and creative director on The Batman, drew a pile of mashups for an awesome Reddit thread. Below, Dann Matthews brings The Muppets into the world of meth, where I'd always assumed they'd been for the past few years.

The One Where The Friends Get Superpowers

Through a strange series of events the Central Perk crew took on the powers of the Super Friends to become the Super Whiners:

Matt Le Blanc as Superman - perfect choice, all brawn, very little brain.
Monica Geller as Green Lantern - I've no idea, really, why. Guess she had to be someone.
Chandler Bing as Batman - a nice choice as the most neurotic of the superheroes.
Phoebe Buffay as Aquaman - one talks to cats, the other to fish.
Rachel Green as Wonder Woman - this really should have been Monica's role, though the hair was a wonder.
Ross Geller as Robin - yep, they were both useless. (Link via Karl Heitmueller)

Holy Check Ins, Batman!

I have no doubt this is an actual problem. Now I'm off to check in at the Fortress of Solitude. (To the Batcave by Agent-X Comics via Nologinformynic)

Dynamic Duo: Calvin and Hobbes

Because they are the imaginary friends we deserve, and the ones we need right now. (From Kyle Latino, which it took me ages to discover after falling down the Tumblr hole of no credits. But thanks to Blackadder for surfacing it.)

Holy Single Ladies, Batman!

Batman: If they liked it, they should have put a ring on it, Boy Wonder.
Robin: Holy dance moves, Batman!

The Batusi, updated for a new century. Is it just me or does Robin appear to be enjoying this way more than the Dark Knight? (Lmao by ~duskflare via Awsomesauce)

You See Us As You Want To See Us...

"You see us as you want to see us: in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is an archer, and a speedster, and a swimmer, a princess, and an acrobat. Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, The Teen Titans."

From illustrator Cliff Chiang, who recreated this classic Breakfast Club cover and several others with superheroes. I may be the last person to post this, but it is too good to pass by. (Link via Zeray Gazette)
