The Adventures of Tintin And His Tauntaun

Tintin meets tauntaun at a cool new show here in Toronto, which doesn't happen too often. Or maybe it does. I just heard about Toronto Draws Tintin last night via a tweet. Also, I don't know the artist of this piece is. Anyone?

Update: I am told by reliable sources that this is the work Benjamin Rivers.

Famous Twins, In Vivo

A collection of famous fictional twins as they may have looked in the womb. I can only imagine that babies being born with weapons and clothing would be a little disturbing. (Film Twins by Mr. Whaite, via That Geek Lover)

The Adventures of Tintin: I Shot First

Ah, why'd they have to go and make Tintin over as Han Solo? I had built up such a nice dislike built up about him. (I Shot First by Dan Hipp, via Super Punch)

Tintin And The Soccer Hooligans

I'll be honest, I hope Tintin gets his ass handed to him — I always found him annoying and pretentious. Asterix and Obelix are more my style. Tintin in England by French artist Dran, for Marks & Stencils: the Pictures On Walls. More coverage from Arrested Motion. (Link via Super Punch)

Tintin Vs. Predator

"But I must warn you, amigo: we are not the only killers in this forest. Legend tells of an invisible beast who hunts men like cheap candy! He is called THE PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER GHOST... which, I discover, sounds not good en Iglés."

Tintin skinned alive? I'd read that. The rest of those books could be sooo dull. (Jesse Hamm via Periscope Studio via A.G. Pasquella)
