For having been on the air for 20 years and strip mining pop culture, Elvis Presley has never made an appearance on The Simpsons. Sure he was in a picture with Mr. Burns and Colonel Homer's management of Lurleen Lumpkin was clearly an homage, but the King of Rock and Roll has never set foot in Springfield until now. Thanks to Dean Fraser of Springfield Punx that has now been rectified.

And now you know what Edward Scissorhands would look like if he was on The Simpsons — from the talented Dean Fraser of Springfield Punx.

It got me wondering what sort of episode Edward would show up on. Certainly Springfield would be a fine stand in for the suburbia surrounding Edward's Gothic mansion. I could imagine somehow Homer switching his hands for Edward's scissors and constantly slashing himself and everyone around him. I'm guessing it would be a Treehouse of Horror episode.

Or at least the Ghostbusters as envisioned by Dean Fraser of Springfield Punx. Fraser has also rendered the rest of the cast, including the poltergeist Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
