It's been sometime since there was a new Muppet movie, and even longer since there has been a good one. While Jim Henson Co. is working on
Happytime Murders, a muppet comedy in the "film noir detective genre," earlier this year
FARK users tried their hand at inserting the "not quite a mop, not quite a puppet" characters into some more adult fare.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: Gonzo takes gonzo journalism to a whole new, literal level. I always suspected there was something odd going on with him.

Single Orange Muppet: People have always suspected there was something untoward about the relationship between Bert and Ernie. And of course we now all know that
Bert is Evil.

The Muppets Take Manhattan: In this post 9/11 world, stange outsiders conqouring New York takes on a whole other meaning.

ReplyDeleteThose are so brilliant. The one for No Country for Old Men was pretty hilarious, too. :) Personally, I think EVERYTHING is better with Muppets.
