The Theory Of Weird Alvolution!

"Hitchin' up the buggy, churnin' lots of butter,
Raised a barn on Monday, soon I'll raise another."

Weird Al Yankovic was one of my earliest introductions to parody, a pivotal moment for me. Seems it may have been for Miranda Dressler as well, as evidenced by her piece for Gallery 1988's show Is This Thing On 2 - hosted by none other than Weird Al! And because it was in my head the moment I saw the suspenders, here's Amish Paradise.

For the longest time I thought Gary Oldman wouldn't play a role where the character didn't die at the end. (Gary Oldman iotacons by Andy Rash)

Great Scott! Lots of Lloyds

Christopher Lloyd is all kinds of crazy but it is Judge Doom that still freaks me out. That final scene when his bugging out and his screeching is still stuck in my head. Nice work, Sam. (Lots of Lloyds by Sam Carter)

The Avengers Breakfast Club

I'm pretty much a sucker for any characters in the Breakfast Club pose, even though Tony Stark would be a better John Bender, at least in terms of attitude. But I suppose he's Brain Johnson, as the brains. (From ninjaink)
